Spotted: Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick is engaged to his long-term girlfriend, actress Amy Jackson.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram on 29 January. He popped the question during their ski trip in Switzerland, right on the Peak Walk by Tissot, picturesque hanging mountain bridge in Switzerland. The joint Instagram post showed them happily hugging on the walkway, and one pic featured Jackson proudly wearing the engagement ring. Another snap captured the crowd eagerly waiting near the bridge, close to a mountain, ensuring privacy for their sweet moment.

In her caption, Jackson confirmed the winter engagement with a spirited "Hell YES" and a ring emoji. On his Instagram Story, Westwick celebrated the engagement, sharing the post and exclaiming, "I hit the jackpot xxx."

The couple first first met in 2021 during a race day with Aston Martin at Silverstone racetrack. They have gone Instagram official in June 2022, and have been regularly posting about their activities and moments together on social media.

"We were invited separately to a race day with Aston Martin at Silverstone racetrack in 2021," Westwick said during an interview with Hello! in October 2023. "I was there with a friend who knew her. I saw her and thought, I'm going to make my move! We chatted for a bit and I asked her if she wanted to meet me for a coffee. We had a wonderful day and she beat me. Her lap time was a lot better than mine! She's been making my heart race from day one!"

Westwick is best known for his role as Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl. He has also starred in the sitcom White Gold. While Jackson is known for starring in Madrasapattinam, Singh is Bliing, 2.0 and other Indian films.
