When was the last time you drank bubble tea from a neighbourhood store? Even though they're not as convenient as grabbing one from your go-to chain, we've found a bubble tea spot that's worth travelling for! World Tea House is a hidden gem located at Tampines that offers fruit bubble tea with mochi bits inside — every piece is pretty large, with a pillowy soft yet chewy texture.

What's more, these drinks are also delightfully affordable so you can enjoy them without breaking the bank. Their most popular offering, Strawberry Mochi ($5.90) contains fresh strawberries, plenty of strawberry syrup and pulp, along with jasmine green tea and mochi.

Other flavours in their Mochi Series include Peach Mochi ($4.90), a peach oolong blend with peach jam and mochi, and Taro Mochi ($4.90/$5.90), which has a milk pudding base with QQ taro, da hong pao milk tea and mochi.

Not in the mood for mochi bubble tea? World Tea House also has other unique options available: drinks like Grape Tea ($6.50) and Mango Delight ($6.90) are great for those who enjoy refreshing beverages, while those who have a sweet tooth will enjoy their Yakult bubble teas or Yoghurt series.
World Tea House also has outlets at Ang Mo Kio and Yishun, though they don't seem to carry the Mochi Series. You can find out more by visiting their websites and Facebook pages.
