The gachapon machines in Daruma are a little different from other capsule toy machines, in that they're all supersized.

The machines are a little larger than the standard ones, and they dispense larger-than-average capsules, which contain - you guessed it - larger toys instead of the typical charm-sized toy. The selection ranges from Sanrio character-themed building blocks figures ($10) to SpongeBob Squarepants art toys ($10).

The store operates on a token system. You can exchange $2 for one token, $10 for five tokens, or the $50 deal for 29 tokens. Each capsule toy requires approximately three to eight tokens to dispense, which means that the toys are priced from $6 to $18 each.
