Enjoy Complimentary Cookies & Contribute To A Good Cause At Geneco's Pop-Up Cafe @ Orchard Road
It's almost tradition for us to take a stroll through Orchard road every Christmas. Besides the dazzling light displays, there are also plenty of festive activities to expect along this lively street. For this year's edition of the annual Christmas On A Great Street, local electricity retailer Geneco is joining in the fun with a pop-up café along with a social initiative.
From 7 to 17 December 2023, Geneco's first-ever net zero pop-up café outside ION Orchard will offer an array of festive baked treats by Yellow Ribbon Bakery and hearty beverages by Huggs Coffee.

The café celebrates Geneco's collaboration with the Yellow Ribbon Project, where the very first batch of festive cookies by Yellow Ribbon Bakery will make its debut. Over 3,000 bags of exclusive Red Velvet & Almonds cookies are meticulously handcrafted by inmates, where they gain valuable skills in the process. A portion of each purchase of Yellow Ribbon Bakery's festive cookies as well as Huggs Coffee drinks will go towards the rehabilitation and reintegration efforts of inmates and ex-offenders.

In line with the campaign, Geneco has also curated a collection of Inspirational Quotes of Hope reflecting themes of encouragement, connection, second chances and fresh beginnings. The public is invited to vote on their favourite quotes and download them to share with friends and families on themagicofhope.sg. Five lucky voters stand a chance to win $100 worth of eCapitaVouchers each. On weekdays between 7 to 17 December, those who vote will also receive a limited-edition Geneco tote bag and Yellow Ribbon pin at the pop-up.
On two weekends, 9, 10, 16 and 17 December, visitors who vote at the pop-up café will get a complimentary bag of exclusive Geneco X Yellow Ribbon Red Velvet & Almonds cookies.
