HAMILTON, The Critically Acclaimed Broadway Musical, Is Coming To Singapore In 2024
Musical theatre lovers, hold your breath, there will be a HAMILTON musical in Singapore! This highly acclaimed, perpetually instantly sold-out musical on Broadway in NYC is making its way to our shores in April, 2024 at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.
Singapore is the third city on HAMILTON's first-ever international tour following its debut in Manila and an upcoming season in Abu Dhabi.

This musical is widely considered to have created a revolutionary moment in theatre in many aspects.
Firstly, the score has a unique blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway. The music and lyrics are by Lin-Manuel Miranda, a famous name you'll recognise for his work in Disney's Moana and Encanto. And more poignantly, the musical tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography.
This resulted in a global phenomenon that has had a profound impact on American culture, politics and education. The musical received an array of accolades including 11 Tony Awards, seven Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
