Have A Frightfully Good Time At Tampines 1: Horror Maze, Shopping Rewards & More
Now that we’re inching closer to the end of October, we’ve officially entered spooky season. And from now till the 29th, Easties with an appetite for horror are in luck! For a frightfully good time, all you have to do is head over to Tampines 1 for their Halloween Scaretacular.
The highlight of the event is undoubtedly the Horror Maze, which is situated right in the open space on the rooftop of the mall. This walk-through attraction comes with a haunting backstory too — you’re stepping into a mysterious wax museum curated by Madame Waru, a mother who was overcome by grief after losing her only daughter.

Enter only if you dare! For the record, I spent the bulk of the experience cowering in fear, with my head in my hands. Entry is free if you spend $50 at the mall. Or you could simply purchase your tickets at $10 each. If you would like to bring your little ones along for the ride, do note that this maze is only suitable for children aged 12 and above.

After surviving the Horror Maze, complete your experience by heading to the Makeover Booth at Level 5, where you can get temporary tattoos and realistic wounds with the help of the special effects makeup artists! If you or your little ones enjoy getting your hands dirty, simply spend $60 to redeem a workshop pass to the Spine-Chilling Art Workshop.
Don't miss out on the fantastic photo opportunities too. You’ll find mascots in monster costumes roaming the event area and there’s even a Photo Booth where you can take photos with realistic wax props. Yes, there will be no shortage of dismembered body parts!
