UNIQLO Singapore Teams Up With Sanrio To Launch 90s Grunge-Inspired My Melody & Kuromi T-Shirts
UNIQLO and Sanrio are a duo that's guaranteed to create the cutest tees. Following a pastel collection and retro city pop collection, the new UT Collection is inspired by the nostalgic 90s grunge scene. Launching on 28 August, the UNIQLO x Sanrio Characters: Kuromi & My Melody line-up will include nine t-shirts featuring the two titular characters channelling grunge coolness.

True to the 90s grunge aesthetic, the t-shirts have oversized silhouettes ideal for putting together a comfy yet effortlessly stylish outfit. They come in a range of flattering and versatile colours. There are classics like black and white as well as Kuromi-style purple and My Melody-approved pinks.
Each tee has fun prints of the two characters in a slightly faded and dishevelled look adding cool contrast to the kawaii designs. On some of the t-shirts, a devil-may-care Kuromi sports Kurt Cobain-esque sunglasses.

The UNIQLO x Sanrio Characters: Kuromi & My Melody UT Collection will be available in stores and online from 28 August. The t-shirts retail at $19.90 each.
