Most will flock to Beijing and Shanghai when travelling to China, but there are other cities that deserve a spot on your itinerary too. If Guangzhou is one of your picks, there's a new MINISO store there that's worth a visit!
MINISO has recently unveiled their revamped 3-storey flagship store in the business district of Guangzhou that's now a Pixar-themed wonderland.
The storefront is rather reminiscent of Disneyland architecture, with a massive fallen ice cream cone sculpture on the rooftop and the melted "ice cream" dripping down each floor. The windows are also plastered with Pixar characters like Sully from Monsters, Inc. and Lotso from Toy Story 3.

The interiors are just as impressive, with vibrant colours and an adorable cartoon aesthetic. Besides stocking over 2,800 merchandise items, the 1,000-square-metre store is also peppered with plenty of photo spots like the pink-overload Lotso Cake Shop and wall of winking faces.

On the first floor, you'll find Pixar-themed blind boxes, food and beauty products.

The second floor has other Pixar character merchandise such as storage solutions and kitchenware. And although the store is Pixar-focused, shoppers can find other character products at the dedicated MINISO x IP area which stocks merchandise from Sanrio, Disney, Pokémon, Coca-Cola and more.
There's also an Accessory House filled with, you guessed it, accessories like jewellery, sunglasses and hair accessories.
On the third floor is the Master's Aroma Lab, a fragrance museum housing a range of perfumes, scented candles and scent diffusers.
Whether you're a Pixar fan or want a little dose of the Disneyland-like magic, this MINISO store in Guangzhou is one to bookmark!
