Song Joong Ki & His Wife Katy Louise Saunders Announce Birth Of Baby Boy

Remember when South Korean actor Song Joong Ki announced his marriage to his then-girlfriend, British actress Katy Louise Saunders, in December 2022? At the time, he shared that his new wife was pregnant with their first child, who was a blessing to both of them as they both dreamed of creating a happy family together.

Now, that dream has definitely come true — Song Joong Ki is officially a dad!

Addressing his fans through his official fancafe, the actor writes that he is currently in Rome, Italy, which is the hometown of his wife. He explained that he greeted his newborn son there, and assured that both mother and child are healthy. The new father even showed his excitement by sharing an adorable picture of his son's hand curled around one of his fingers.

Song Joong Ki added in the letter that he has just completed filming in Hungary for his role in My Name Is Loh Kiwan, and has enjoyed spending time in May at the Cannes Film Festival for the movie Hopeless.

He also signed off with a promise to return with a brand-new film soon. Whatever it is, we can't wait to see the new project!
