FairPrice Finest Opens Their Fanciest Supermarket Yet With A Cafe & Bar Serving Cocktails, Desserts, Coffee & More

Grocery shopping can be exhausting, and it's completely understandable if you ever feel like you need a tipple to relax and unwind in the middle of a grocery run. Well, the solution is quite literally a few steps away, that is, if you're at FairPrice Finest at The Woodleigh Mall.

The newly opened shopping mall is home to a 25,000 sq ft FairPrice Finest supermarket boasting plenty of fancy and unexpected features. Think Insta-worthy dining spaces serving gorgeous desserts, craft beers, shaken cocktails, customised meals and freshly baked artisanal breads, along with gourmet and specialty products.

Perhaps the most impressive section is The Grocer Bar, a stylish and swanky bar that blends in seamlessly with the rest of the supermarket.

How thrilling does drinking in a supermarket sound? Shoppers can stop in the middle of their errands to luxuriate in the relaxing space and sip on exclusive cocktails such as The Woodleigh Club and FairPrice Smash, or craft beers on tap from Red Dot Brewhouse. There's also a wide range of wines and spirits on the supermarket shelves that can be purchased and popped open on the spot.

Complete the bougie affair with sumptuous bites such as freshly shucked oysters from the seafood counter or a personalised cheese platter (from $15).

Besides The Woodleigh Mall, two other outlets to enjoy this bar-in-a-supermarket experience are at The Centrepoint and Ang Mo Kio Blk 712.

The next exciting dine-in concept is The Grocer Kitchen's 'Pick 'n' Cook' option, where customers can choose fish or prawns from the fresh seafood counter and hand it to the chef to grill it a la minute with their preferred seasoning: shioyaki or teriyaki. It comes in a set with rice, miso soup and salad (+$8).
