The New Coach Play Singapore Shophouse Has A NYC-Inspired Coach Café, Customisation Service & More
Coach just opened their largest global concept store to date, and it's right here in our sunny island at Keong Saik Road.
Coach Play Singapore Shophouse is the first Asia location in a new series of immersive concept stores inspired by the house's New York spirit.
Featuring a blend of contemporary luxury and local charm, the 3-storey store has six rooms, each with its own unique theme. It also houses a New York City-inspired cafe as well as Coach's latest collection of bags, ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories.

While moving between rooms, you'll encounter plenty of Instagrammable spots.

But the real star of the space is the Coach Café where diners can enjoy artisanal coffee and classic New York City-inspired bites crafted in collaboration with Brawn & Brains. The menu includes exclusive items inspired by American classics with a local twist such as the Classic Pancakes ($16) with maple syrup, homemade kaya and mixed berries jam as well as the Gula Melaka Milkshake ($12).

We went for the heartiest and most NYC-style meal - Chicken & Waffles ($18). The waffles had a crispy bite leading to soft and fragrant goodness on the inside. The chicken was just as impressive, with a crispy batter that wasn't too thick and juicy meat. Rounding up the satisfying dish was the chilli honey adding a little spicy kick.

We'd also recommend the Zesty Lemon Curd Donut ($5.20), a crisp, light and pillowy soft donut with a tart and subtly sweet filling. Other donut flavours include Cinnamon Spice and Cherries & Cream.
Wash that down with drinks like Tea ($8), Coffees ($4 - $6) and Milkshakes ($10 - $12).
There's also a dessert menu available from 6pm which has s'mores, ice cream sundae and apple pie. You'll want to whip out your phone for The Hangtag Surprise ($25), which comes with a hangtag-shaped chocolate that you can crack open to reveal more sweet treats inside. It's served with vanilla ice cream and strawberries.
