From the age of 13, Xiaojie has suffered from acne, which naturally subsided during her post-teenage years. Now 23, Xiaojie still experiences the occasional hormonal breakouts that would leave post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) on her cheeks, chin and forehead.

Xiaojie’s session at Astalift first began with a skin assessment using a digital analyser. The results showed that her skin was dry and the sebum levels around the U and T-zones of her face were low.
