Homegrown fashion brand Charles & Keith has just pulled out all the stops with their latest outlet at Orchard Road. Boasting a massive floor space of 233 square metres, this is their biggest store yet, with shelves upon shelves of shoes and bags in a minimalist setting. Plus, it’s also home to their first-ever artisanal customisation counter, where patrons can put a personal spin on their own items.

While Charles & Keith is a mid-range brand, this newest outlet at Orchard has a more high-fashion vibe that can rival that of the neighbouring big name stores. Don’t expect anything fanciful here - it’s a stripped-down look in monochromatic colours, with expansive display shelves taking priority, but those are the very elements that give the boutique all its luxe aesthetical appeal.
Dark geometric stone-like slabs positioned smack in the middle of the boutique not only serve as display platforms, they also double up as edgy focal points complemented with pop of green from the potted trees. At the same time, steely surfaces bring a heightened sense of sleekness that’s almost futuristic.

In a first for the brand, this Takashimaya boutique has an exclusive personalisation counter, with services by Charles & Keith’s very own embroidery artisan. Pick from seasonal festive designs, motifs of Charles & Keith icons like the Gabine bag, or even your own name to be inscribed on a recycled polyester tote or dust bag.
