B for Bagel: Popular Korean Bagel Joint Is Now In Singapore With Bagels From Just $3.90
If you’ve been to Gangnam, you would have probably come across this bagel bar widely known for its wallet-friendly bagels. But if you haven’t, now’s your chance to try them out, for B for Bagel has finally opened its first overseas outlet in Singapore! So you’ll now get to taste these freshly made decadent bagels from Korea without having to travel thousands of miles for it.

Located at the basement level of Tanglin Mall, B for Bagel’s interior takes after its OG outlet in Gangnam - wooden tones with vibrant orange decor, very much representative of a well-baked bagel.

It also has a corner decorated with posters, shelves of tableware, and merchandise like T-shirts and keychains, which adds personality to the space and presents a good photo op for the ‘gram.

With fresh batches of bagels coming out at 10am and 1pm daily, these K-style buns are softer and chewier compared to those from the West, where the texture is known to be harder and more dense.

On the menu are tons of bagels comprising the classic plain ($3.90) alongside interesting sweet and savoury options.

For those with a penchant for sweet bakes, you can turn to choices like Soboro Cookie Dough ($4.50) and Cinnamon Orange ($5.20) to appease your craving. Dessert bagels are also a thing at this bagel joint, so don’t miss out on one of its must-try creations - the Peach Cloud ($7.50), which is stuffed with creamy mascarpone and peaches.

Those who appreciate more savoury tastes can try the Spinach Cheese ($5.20), Salt & Butter ($5.50) or the Singapore-exclusive Red Curry Chicken ($14.50). This locally-inspired dish is a tad spicy and includes ingredients such as chicken, pickles and carrots and cilantro.
