The New Adidas x Hello Kitty Collection Is Finally Available In Singapore, Includes Sneakers & Bag

Mix cute Hello Kitty designs with sporty shoes and you’ve most likely got a winning formula - as was the case for the Skechers x Hello Kitty and Nike x Hello Kitty collections, which sent fans into a shopping frenzy. Sneaker label adidas isn’t about to miss out on that never-ending Sanrio hype, and they’ve finally brought their new adidas x Hello Kitty launch to Singapore.

Previously only available in Japan, the adidas x Hello Kitty collection is now available for purchase in Singapore and it’ll be one to covet if you’re into all things bright and bold. Primarily black with a white midsole and embroidered polka dots, the adidas Originals x Hello Kitty Forum Low Women's sneakers ($150) is given a touch of femininity with red and pink accents and a Hello Kitty motif on the side.

Another model for adults is the adidas Superstar x Hello Kitty sneakers, which comes with mismatched pink and red laces adorned with plastic beads. The top of Hello Kitty’s head peeks out subtly from the sides.

Unfortunately, this model doesn’t seem to be available in Singapore at time of writing, but hopefully we’ll spot them in stores soon!

Fanny packs get such unnecessary flak and the naysayers clearly haven’t seen the adidas Originals x Hello Kitty Waist Bag ($40) before. Made from at least 60% recycled content, this cute and compact clip-on bag was actually designed for children, but is large enough to fit a smartphone - so who says you can’t get it for yourself?

The rest of the shoes in the collection are for kids and infants, but if you have small feet, you might be in luck, for these go up to 2 UK, which according to adidas’ size guide, is the equivalent of EUR 34.

Offering great cushioning is the chunky adidas x Hello Kitty Astir Shoes ($80 infants, $95 kids), which has cute ribbon designs around the lace eyelets.

Alternatively, dress your little superstar up in none other than the adidas x Hello Kitty Superstar Shoes ($110) - a kid-sized version of those classic trainers with the brand’s signature 3 stripes across the side. Adorning the shoe’s rubber shell toe area is Hello Kitty face, while subtle debossed bow designs are scattered all over the shoe’s body. This, too, is partially made using recycled materials.

Your children will never fumble when putting on their shoes again with the adidas x Hello Kitty Superstar 360 Shoes ($80 infants, $95 kids), which are simply slipped on in seconds. There are 2 colourways available: Vivid Red, which has a smooth satin-like surface and a large image of Hello Kitty on the side, and Core Black, featuring repeated motifs of the Sanrio character’s face.
