Influencer Mongchin Yeoh AKA Mongabong Is Finally Pregnant After Battling Years Of Fertility Issues & PCOS
You’d probably never guess this if you haven’t been closely following her over the past few years, but underneath her smiley and cheerful exterior, influencer Mongchin Yeoh has been battling Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Better known to the public sphere as Mongabong, the 27-year-old has suffered fertility issues as a result of her condition, which has been a downer for her, since one of her biggest life goals has always been to become a mother.
But miracles do happen, and despite her health issues, Mongabong has successfully gotten pregnant! Here’s how she broke the big news to her husband Matthias, and the rest of their family and friends.

Mongabong first publicly shared about her pregnancy on Instagram with a reel snippet showing how she surprised Matt with the news. Playing on the phrase “bun in the oven”, she left a packet of kaya buns in their kitchen’s oven for him to find, along with the positive pregnancy tests.
Part of the caption reads:
“This has been one of the biggest secrets I’ve had to keep.. also the toughest to hide!
We had the honour of sharing the news with our closest friends and family over the last 3 months, and of course it wouldn’t be complete without sharing it with YOU!”
“My Instagram family that has been ever so supportive. After years of sharing about my health, getting diagnosed with PCOS, fertility issues and more.. So many of you have shared your stories with me so openly and truthfully, baring it all - It just brings tears to my eyes to be reminded that I had and will continue to have, so many of you cheering me on, and by my side.”
“We are finally here ?”

She also openly shared about her severe morning sickness, where she was nauseous for 95% of her day earlier on. While she’s still often pukish, she considers this a blessing in disguise because it has been proven that those who have bad morning sickness have a lower risk of miscarrying.

Their immediate families got to know of the pregnancy during their Father’s Day celebrations, where a specially-ordered pinata cake held an image of the baby ultrasound, with a note reading: “The Best Dad gets promoted to GRANDPA!”

Needless to say, there were a ton of hugs, happy squeals, and teary eyes all around.

The couple then proceeded to surprise the rest of their close ones by presenting envelopes or boxes to them, with the ultrasound images hidden inside.
