The $88 menu starts off on a high note with Roasted London Duck with Chef’s Special Sauce, where you’ll get generously thick slices of duck accompanied by a fragrant and glistening layer of perfectly-roasted skin. It is especially delightful with the special sauce, which lends this meaty dish a bit of tang.

Other highlights from the $88 menu include the Stewed Fish Paste Noodle with Tiger Prawn in X.O. Sauce, which comes with a whole succulent tiger prawn the size of a palm, and the Steamed Fillet of Dragon Tiger Garoupa with Mui Choy in Shallot Oil. We find that the fish’s tender flesh is well-complemented by the light fragrance of the shallot oil, which doesn’t overwhelm the natural sweetness of the fish.

If you choose to go with the $108 menu, your appetisers will be a Roasted Rack of Suckling Pig with a satisfyingly crisp skin that crunches with every bite, as well as a rich and nourishing Double-boiled Baby Superior Shark’s Fin with Essence of Chicken Soup.

One of our favourites from this menu is the Baked Freshwater King Prawn with Superior Soya Sauce, which is charred to a smoky-sweet perfection. There’s also an indulgent Fried La Mian with X.O. Sauce Sliced Abalone and Crispy Pork, and the meal ends on a sweet note with Chilled Jelly Royale with Mango, Sago and Pomelo in Young Coconut.

The most premium set menu option comes with heavy-hitters such as Roasted Rack of Suckling Pig, Double-boiled Baby Superior Shark’s Fin in Shark’s Bone Cartilage Soup, and Crispy Noodle with Baked Freshwater King Prawn in X.O. Sauce.
One dish that we absolutely cannot get enough of is the Braised Australian 3-head Abalone accompanied with Asparagus. The abalone was done just right - it had a bouncy and chewy texture, yet was tender enough that we could slice it into bite-sized pieces easily with a small table knife. The savoury sauce itself was very flavourful and pairs well with the mild sweetness of Australian abalone.
A rich and heavy meal like this calls for a light, refreshing dessert, and Peach Garden doesn’t disappoint. In this $138 set menu, you’ll get a Double-boiled Hasma in Young Coconut for dessert. The elegance of this beautiful dessert is that it is made with premium herbal ingredients that are said to be rather nourishing, yet remain gentle on your palate and stomach without being too cloying or rich.
