The brainchild of Dior’s first female artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri, the luxury tote serves as a canvas for the French fashion house’s signature designs, from the classic #DiorOblique to seasonal prints like the Toile De Jouy Flowers.

Whether crafted in canvas or leather, the tote bag is an instantly recognisable icon, having been seen on celebrities like Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence. This season, Dior has unveiled fresh motifs for the Book Tote in small, medium, and large styles.

There’s the new multi-coloured Ciel de Rêve motif, which pays homage to Marc Bohan’s 1960s designs for Dior. Brimming with a charming retro vibe, the tote’s latte-coloured base is filled with floating blue clouds and a pastel-coloured landscape.

Playing off Dior’s penchant for celestial prints, there’s also a new iteration of the Zodiac embroidery in the black Toile de Jouy motif. Truly an astrologist’s dream, the bag features the Hercules and Aquarius constellations.

If you like checkered prints, then the Check’n’Dior embroidery will be right up your alley. Available in both yellow/black for the small and black/white for the large, these bags remind us of Cher Horowitz’s yellow plaid set from 1995 rom-com Clueless.
