Manolo Blahnik X Birkenstock’s New Summer Drop Ft. Polka Dots & PVC Straps Is Perfect For The Poolside
Easy like a summer’s breeze—that’s the vibe you get with the second drop of the highly-anticipated Manolo Blahnik X Birkenstock collaboration. Shoppers can expect four styles, including Birkenstock’s signature Arizona slides and Boston clogs.

Perfect for lounging by the poolside, the slides have been given a monochrome makeover with translucent PVC straps, while the clogs and the new Rondra sandals, feature black-and-white polka dots on calf hair.

A slimmed-down interpretation of Birkenstock’s Siena sandal, the Rondra style by Blahnik features cross-straps for easy wearing. These silhouettes all come with buckle detailing on the upper and strap.

These relaxed styles are a welcome contrast to the first release in March, which was centered around velvet editions of Birkenstock’s classic Arizona and Boston shoes. These shoes were embellished with Manolo Blahnik’s glamorous crystal buckle for a dressy look.

In both drops, Blanik’s opulence marries Birkenstock’s pared-back utilitarianism in a sophisticated manner for styles that remain timeless and wearable.
Mark your calendar for June 23 as the second Manolo Blahnik x Birkenstock collection will launch via Birkenstock 1774’s website, as well as Manolo Blahnik’s online and offline locations. While prices have yet to be confirmed, the first drop was priced from US$750 (S$1041).
