5 New Fashion Launches In Singapore: Preppy Parisian-Chic Workwear, Minimalist Pastel Staples & More

#1 New Balance Uni-ssentials

If you're always stealing your bae's t-shirts and hoodies, New Balance's latest Uni-ssentials range will put an end to the argument of who's clothes belong to who. This collection of modern sportswear are gender-neutral, featuring staples constructed from the overlapping measurements of traditional men's and women's sizing.

This inclusive take on unisex sizing is based entirely on body shape and measurements, using numbered blocks from the intersecting points of traditional lettered sizes. For example, a size 1 fits a chest size of 81 to 89cm, waist of 61 to 73.5cm and hip of 83.75 to 91.5cm, and is similar to women's XS to S and men's XXS to XS.

The Uni-ssentials range consists of tops, sweatshirts and shorts with retail prices ranging from $49 to $89. It's available at selected New Balance Lighthouse and Experience Stores and on newbalance.com.sg, as well as at selected Foot Locker and Limited Edt Doors and Zalora by April 2022.

#2 UNIQLO INES DE LA FRESSANGE 2022

Inspired by the French flag as well as Marrakech, a favourite travel destination among the French, UNIQLO's latest Ines De La Fressange collection has charming Emily in Paris vibes.

This collection offers a variety of work-friendly items in the blue, white, and red colours of the French flag. There are sporty pieces like knits with hoods and collars, preppy cardigans and jackets, and cottagecore dresses and shirts in floral and check prints.

The shirts and jackets in washed-out cotton and linen, pieces typical worn while on a holiday in Marrakech, have been prewashed for exceptionally soft comfort.

The UNIQLO x Ines De La Fressange Spring/Summer 2022 collection will be available from 25 February at UNIQLO Orchard Central Global Flagship, ION Orchard and online stores.

#3 H&M Blank Staples

H&M's new line-up of minimalist staples feature gorgeous candy-esque pastels on oversized and boxy-fit basics including tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, underwear and socks.

Mix and match the tops and bottoms for a cute look with a mix of baby blues, yellows and greens, or pair them with the other pieces in your wardrobe. New additions are the windbreakers, zipped hoodies, casual shorts, shoes and bucket hats.

All cotton garment pieces in this collection are made of 100% in-conversion cotton, except the grey melange styles that are made of 98% or 99% in-conversion cotton and 2% or 1% viscose.

The new Blank Staples drop is available in H&M Orchard Building and ION Orchard and hm.com.

#4 Jean-Michel Basquiat x Pomelo

Pomelo has launched its first exclusive collaboration with Jean Michel Basquiat, an influential 20th-century artist. His distinctive neo-expressionism and primitive art style is characterised by almost frantic scribbles, enigmatic symbols and loud colours.

#5 Cotton On x Keith Haring

Another result of a graffiti art collab, the Cotton On x Keith Haring collection includes women's and men's clothes that feature some of the artist's most well-known graphics.

The oversized t-shirts, hoodies, shoes, tote bags, shoes and socks have Haring's motifs like the heart and interlocking human figures in vibrant pops of colour.
