New Prada Pop-Up In Singapore Has Instagram-Worthy Glowing Purple Trellis, Open Till 31 December

High fashion brands have been on a roll with all things ‘gram-worthy as of late. First was the cute apple-themed Gucci pop-up, followed by the ongoing Chanel Christmas installation with dazzling light shows and free gifts. Not to be left out of the party, Milanese luxury label Prada has also set up their own free-entry pop-up in town, and it’ll be up till the end of December 2021.

A global campaign that’s currently in 9 cities including New York, Yokohama, and Paris, the Prada Glow pop-up is one that celebrates modernity and energy. Singapore, too, is one of the chosen sites, with the limited-time event now ongoing at Orchard Road.

With this pop-up also comes a special fashion collection that blurs the lines between day and night, with elements of menswear appearing in women’s pieces, and a heavy dose of metallics, sequins, and crystals.

The main highlight is an avant garde trellis which glows purple - bringing on futuristic, cyberpunk-like vibes. Projections and chromatic lighting effects switch this royal shade up to orange and green, with the triangular Prada logo incorporated as part of the geometric structure.

While there, take a peek at the collection of apparel, shoes, bags, and accessories - many of which come with shimmery sheens and are studded with bling!

The Prada Glow pop-up is located on Level 1 of Paragon Shopping Centre at Orchard Road, and will be open until 31 December 2021. Entry is free.
