"They wanted to change the heroine into a white girl. I was like, Well, you’ve missed the point completely. No, thank you."

Places visited include "Anglo-Chinese School", where Nick and Colin attended grade school; Dempsey Hill, where Astrid and Michael had their first date; and a luxurious house located at 35 Ridout Road. The three-hour tour take you from places mentioned in the book and locations featured in the film.

Kevin Kwan, the author of the book said, "Crazy Rich Asians may be fiction, but given the situation I grew up in, I've had an unparalleled view into the very real world it depicts.
