Hong Kong MeiXin is best known for their mooncakes, from traditional ones and the snowskin variety to trendy themed renditions like the Minions mooncakes. But a lesser known gem from the brand is their biscuits which are made of butter, not margarine, and contain no preservatives, artificial colouring or flavouring.

Right in time for CNY 2022, they've teamed up with Sanrio to create adorable Hello Kitty packaging for two of their popular biscuits.

Made with a double baking technique which creates a crispy caramelised crust, these lovely heart-shaped biscuits have a crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

It now comes in a lovely pink hexagonal box featuring Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters like Little Twin Stars and Pompompurin.

These pastries have a 192 layer texture which gives them a flavourful and crunchy mouth feel.

It comes in CNY-ready red packaging with Hello Kitty.

These two MeiXin Hello Kitty treats are available for pre-order till 23 Jan 2022 for $45 each at 7-Eleven stores in Singapore, along with Lugan mandarin ($18.80) and a Mahjong Set ($49.90).
