Dazzling Chanel Christmas Installation In Town Has Nightly Light Shows + Free Gift Redemption

Among all the massive Christmas trees standing tall outside malls along our shopping belt, there’s one that doesn’t quite look the same as the rest. Instead of being green and leafy with a conical shape, this avant garde structure outside ION Orchard is a tower of overlapping gold loops, with stacks of giant white trunks and gift boxes at its base.

This resplendent 18-metre installation is the Chanel Holiday Cosmos-sphere - setting the record as not only the first outdoor Chanel Christmas tree in Singapore, but also the tallest Chanel installation in the world. On top of interactive elements and nightly light shows, there’s also free merchandise to be redeemed!

Conceptualised specially for the yuletide season, the Chanel Holiday Cosmos-sphere was also designed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the luxury brand’s most lusted-after perfume, Chanel N°5; The number 5 suspended along the installation’s main frame should already give that away to the sharp-eyed.

Photo opportunities abound here at almost any angle. Stand in front of the structure’s heap of cream and gold-coloured trunks filled with presents for a cute OOTD, and shoot from a close-up angle to block out the trees and other buildings in the background.

Step through the circular archway and enter an intergalactic-themed nook, where you’ll be mesmerised by a feature wall with astrological motifs and a gold 3D model of the iconic perfume. While there, let your senses relax as you inhale the light and floral Chanel N°5 L’eau filling the air.

Don't forget to look up so you can gaze upon the towering structure from a different perspective! Spot the CC logo dangling from above, along with delightful wrapped presents, stars, and gold meteorite rocks studded with lights.

The installation becomes even more dazzling at night when it gets lit up along with the other Christmassy displays lining the rest of Orchard Road. On top of that, you’ll be treated to a celestial light show happening nightly at fixed intervals.

There’s also the chance to redeem free gifts with your visit! There’s absolutely no purchase required, but here’s the catch - you’ll first have to spot a hidden QR code, scan it, and sign up to be part of Chanel’s mailing list in order to be eligible. Hint: it’s located on the side of a particular gift trunk near the entryway of the installation.

Once you've filled in your particulars, you should receive an SMS containing a link to the redemption coupon. Simply head over to the Chanel Beauty Boutique at B2 of ION Orchard to claim your gift.

What you’ll be receiving is a pair of Chanel badges. The first one is a default black badge with the brand’s logo on it. The second one has an image of the Chanel N°5 in a metallic gold finish, and you get to pick between black and white as the badge’s base colour. All 3 badge designs come sprayed in a red and gold finish, along with subtle star motifs, for maximum festive sparkle!

The Chanel Holiday Cosmos-sphere installation will be up and running from 10am to 10pm daily from now to 2 January 2022, and the light show will be happening at 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm every night. Free gifts while stocks last.
