Luxe Safari Tipi Dinners Are Back: 4-Course Meals In Tents With Free Alcohol & Animal Encounters
The thought of traditional rough-and-tough camping might not appeal to many of us creatures of comfort, but give us a more spacious tent, throw in some pretty decor with food, and we’re sold. Anything to feel like we’re not in Singapore, right folks? After high demand last year, the 4-course safari tent dining experience at the Night Safari is back for a 2022 run, with complimentary alcohol pairings, wild animal encounters, and exclusive VIP tram tours.
This year's edition is titled Festive Wild-erland: A Black & White Celebration, and participants are encouraged to show up dressed in black and white to suit the theme.

Specially created to celebrate the festive season, Festive Wild-erland: A Black & White Celebration at the Night Safari Singapore is a highly exclusive dinner experience happening over just 4 nights this December 2022. Upon arrival, you’ll first board an exclusive Chartered Tram that will take you to the roomy tipi tent, where you’ll kick off the night with cocktails before meeting some animal friends.

We don’t mean spotting wildlife from a distance - these animal encounters guided by the Night Safati’s friendly trainers will have you getting up close to nocturnal creatures of the wildlife park. The specific animals you’ll be meeting will be kept a surprise, but last year's event featured smaller critters like sugar gliders, lizards, and owls. Based on the name of this year's version, it is possible that the stars of this year will be creatures with black and white fur and patterns.
Photo opportunities will be aplenty, and you might even get the chance to pet some of the animals!

Then, you’ll head into the tipi tent for a hearty 4-course meal. This isn’t your regular glamping dome, nuh-uh - it’s a spacious, high-ceilinged enclave that comes with a grand chandelier, and looks more like a luxury camp lodge than anything. All tables are decorated with candles on elegant stands, and leafy potted trees are positioned around to add on to that safari vibe.
This time, beef is not part of the feast, as farming cattle has high environmental impact. Instead, ingredients for the curated menu are all from sustainable sources so as to help in earth conservation efforts.

- Welcome drink
- Assorted canapes
- Appetiser: Chilled Boston Lobster Medallion
- Soup: Light Cream Shitake Mushroom served with Charcoal Bread
- Mains: White Turkey Stew Fricassee Style OR Pan Fried White Snapper with Lemon Cream Sauce (choose one)
- Dessert: White Christmas Log Cake
- Chocolate Pralines
Other than soft drinks, fruit juice, and coffee and tea for beverages, this set meal also includes complimentary alcohol pairings. In total, you’ll be downing 4 glasses of wine - from South Africa, Australia, France and Portugal - on top of the welcome drink. Talk about getting wild.

The night will end with a private tram adventure around the Night Safari, home to over 900 nocturnal animals from 100 species, with live commentary. You’ll also receive a limited edition souvenir gift before departing, along with a complimentary parking coupon.

Each ticket costs a grand total of $299.60 for adults after GST. It’s admittedly not a small amount, but the splurge will be worth it for this exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t get anywhere else in Singapore. Definitely something to consider for an end-of-year treat!
