Located at the National Museum of Singapore, Otah & Friends: Camp Stardust spans across 4000 sqft – their biggest outlet to date. Similar to their previous volumes, Camp Stardust is a light-hearted escape room that features imaginative storytelling, 4 different themed rooms, and interactive game technology. Inspired by the William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings, Camp Stardust aims to educate visitors on wildlife in Singapore as well as impart values like courage, teamwork, and respect for nature through gameplay.

You'll start at the entrance under a lovely tent where an Otah & Friends guide will take you through the storyline of Camp Stardust before letting you enter the escape room. Look out for a new character – Sambal the Deer – as he'll be joining Otah the Otter and other characters in this new series!

Visitors will also get to pick a plush each that'll accompany them as they navigate through the rooms.

Race against time to find 4 courage badges to help an ancient fallen star reunite with the night sky.

Moody Cave

We first entered the Moody Cave where we had to navigate through a dark maze in search of the first courage badge. While this room is supposedly a test for visitors to overcome their fear of the dark, our experience was a rather pleasant one as we were enamoured with the beautiful, ethereal-looking setting.

The next room is one that features a huge ball pit, which in our opinion is the most IG-worthy room out of the four. In this room, visitors will need to count the number of marine animals to unlock a 4-digit pin to a safebox that contains the second courage badge.

Put your flexibility skills to the test as you go up and under the ropes to get to the third courage badge!

Adorned on the walls in this room are cute insects with buttons. To retrieve the last courage badge, you'll need to work as a team to hit the buttons as they light up.

When you've successfully collected all four badges, place them on this tree stump to unlock the doors to a room that has a campfire setting with gorgeous fairy lights.

We ended our escape room experience on a cheery note with a photo-taking session with the mascot of Otah the Otter! If you're lucky, you might also catch the mascots of Billy the Hornbill and Luckee the Wild Boar.

Before you leave, check out these cute photo booths – the lemon-shaped one is a kids-sized photo booth while the other one takes the shape of a giant sushi!
