Sylvia explained that while the language used on her colleagues might have been "harsh", "it was never [her] intention to upset anyone".

"This is a difficult but much needed lesson for me to learn about management and leadership," she said after acknowledging that she has "failed to provide the safe space for [her] colleagues to give [her] feedback".

Sylvia further explained that she was upset after she found out that Samantha had an existing 3-year bond with a government agency which meant that she wouldn't be able to sign a full-time contract with NOC.

"In my anger, I made my sentiments clear so that other contestants, who would be able to join us as a full-time content creator, can have the opportunity," she shared.

The YouTuber also revealed that Samantha has reached out to her and that the two have made peace.

The public, however, had dividing views on her clarification.

Samantha has also refuted Sylvia's apology in which she stated that the contract was signed 3 years before the filming of kNOCkout and that she had informed the company about her 3-year bond with a government agency prior to the production.

"The lawyer from NOC also reviewed my contract to make sure it was okay that I have two contracts running at the same time," she shared.
