Beauty junkies who are also Disney fans are in for a real treat, for esteemed beauty brand Estée Lauder has once again teamed up with the cartoon franchise that’s responsible for many of our favourite childhood memories. Like last year’s Disney collection, this one features pressed powder foundation and perfume, but instead of Disney Princess designs, 2021’s collection has a Magic of Mickey theme featuring none other than Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

For those not in the know, Estée Lauder has come up with a new series of limited edition compacts every year since 1963, and are prized collectibles for serious beauty aficionados. 2021’s Magic of Mickey collection was created together with luxury jewellery designer and photographer Monica Rich Kosann, who brought out the whimsical and magical qualities of Disney in the most elegant manner.

Estée Lauder Magic of Mickey Metal Compacts

The Estée Lauder Magic of Mickey Metal Compacts come empty, and are meant for you to encase your own refill of the brand’s Perfecting Pressed Powder. Large and small versions are available, with the former being square-shaped and the latter, circular, with a pocket watch-like appearance. Each exquisite gold-tone casing is embellished with rhinestones. Flip open the compact for an engraved quote corresponding to the name of the design.

Like the Metal Compact, Estée Lauder’s Magic of Mickey Solid Perfume comes crystal-studded, with uplifting quotes hidden inside. Each design contains a different signature fragrance by the brand.
