Lee Teng Finally Went Public With His Girlfriend And Here's All You Need To Know About Them
The 34-year-old Taiwanese-born television host based in Singapore is no stranger to us but what we are learning for the first time today is that he now has a girlfriend.
The big reveal happened on the recent Valentine's Day, where Lee Teng posted a photo of himself and a mysterious lady on his Instagram, making their relationship 'Insta Official'.
In a phone interview with Toggle, Lee Teng shared:
"We've actually been dating for a while. I wanted to post something meaningful to wish everyone a happy Valentine's Day, so I decided on this photo."
When asked about the identity of the lucky girl, Lee Teng revealed that she is Gina Lin, a 27-year-old Taiwanese who is currently working in a multinational advertising company based in Singapore.
According to Lee Teng, how they met is straight out of a Korean drama.
"You know there's an 'Explore' tab on Instagram where they show you photos from your friend's friends? I happened to check it one day thought she was pretty cute."
A click to her profile and he discovered she is a friend of his sister. He began asking questions about her and wondered if she looks as good as she is in person. It was not long until she set up a meeting for the two and well, the rest is history.
While Lee Teng and Gina have known each other for close to five years, they only got together last October.
In his interview with Toggle, he continued to share:
"She's not from showbiz. So part of the reason why we took so long to get together is that I'm busy with work and couldn't spend a lot of time together. She also couldn't really understand how certain things in the industry work so it took some mutual understanding for us to get to where we are today."
Apart from South Korea, Lee Teng revealed that they had also gone on short getaways to countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia. When they go on dates in Singapore, Lee Teng revealed they would hold hands as normal couples do because he feels that there is nothing to hide.
When asked about his marriage plans, Lee Teng also shared that they are taking things one step at a time but they are definitely dating with marriage in mind.
Seems like another celeb is off the shelf and we are truly happy for Lee Teng~ While there are not too many photos of the two yet, let's hope they will post more now that they have gone Instagram official. Everyone deserves to be happy, even celebrities!
