14 Year Age Gap? No Issue! Sonia Chew, 26 Dates A 40-Year-Old Investment Banker!
A 14 year age gap might seem like a huge issue to some, but for 987 DJ Sonia Chew, it's no big deal at all.
The 26 Year old DJ made her relationship with beau official just a couple of months ago and there are absolutely happy together despite the "wide gap".
Jeremy Sng, who is 40 and works as an investment banker looks very youthful too, a great match to the fun loving and vivacious Sonia.

They met on a singles cruise that she was hosting.
He made the first move! He approacher her by saying "You must be the DJ that everyone is talking about". Naise.

Sonia, who has just gotten out of a relationship initially thought he was working in the events company that organised the cruise. She had no idea what his true occupation was as he never mentioned!
Turns out his good friend was the one who was running the event and he was just helping out.

It was only after the cruise, where he made his move and dated her out.

Sonia said she was the one who made it official and it was an accident
She introduced him to her friend as "my boyfriend".
Oops.
Good mistake though, because the title continued to stick after that and they became an item.
Sonia says that Jeremy is very sociable and he's pretty fascinated with her work. It helps that he isn't insecure too because being a celebrity who's constantly in the limelight can take a toll on relationships.
Despite the 14 year age gap, the two have no problem communicating at all. They have a natural chemistry with each other
Says Sonia, "His humour is super corny and young, and the age gap is really not a problem. He's as corny as me, if not cornier!"
Seems like a great match then!
"I've dated guys who are insecure, cos in my line of work, I go to a lot of events and parties and meet a lot of people. So talking about the relationship and being open about it is one of the ways I can make my boyfriend feel secure. This is one of the things I learned with my previous relationships."

It seems that Jeremy approves! He loves it when Sonia talks about them and most certainly doesn't mind all the attention she gets as well. It helps to have such a supportive beau especially when one is constantly under great pressure and scrutiny by the media and public.

The couple went for a beach holiday together recently. Looks like these two are both equally outgoing and have similar interests.
