Have you been snapping more than you should lately? Before you blame yourself or anyone else, DO NOT self-diagnose yourself with depression or bipolar and other labels. These 7 triggers can shed light on what's wrong with me? Why am I cranky?

1. You are sleepy
Many arguments and unnecessary explosions can be resolved by this one habit: Sleep early la! Examine your sleep cycle, do you have a healthy sleep pattern? Do you get at least 6 hours of sleep each day? Well, if you don't then you really should! Make everyone else's life easier when you sleep early~

2. Noises Drive You Crazy

Loud noises trigger the anger-o-meter inside you. The voice of the person you dislike will annoy the heck out of you. When someone speaks too loudly, it might also set off your inner volcano. It's not all your fault. Here try this! Kindly tell her to shut up or I meant, "Can you please talk softer it's too loud..."

3. Morning Alarm Choice
Rethink your alarm song, volume and how many times you allow snooze. Waking up in the morning is the state of mind; The moment of choice.  Most people choose loud music thinking it's more effective but it is not. When your alarm is too noisy, it sets you off in a bad mood from the start. Turn on vibration mode and choose a jazzy or calm music. You will be surprised that the result is the same except, you won't have a cranky start!

4. Just Hungry
When you're hungry, you're cranky. You know what, I have an emergency chocolate in my bag just in case I get too hungry. This way, you can buffer some time and stay in a good mood until you actually eat!

5. Unresolved Petty Issues
Our heart has limited capacity. When you store petty issues, you will never have space for anything else. You might find yourself easily triggered by individuals who have offended you or caused you hurt. You know what you need to do? Let loose and treat yourself to a restful getaway. Get plenty of rest, reflection and do your thing. This works magic.

6. To-Do List
It's daunting to walk around with many outstanding tasks at the back of your mind. A free and happy person is the one who either doesn't care or mastered the skills of letting go. Picture these items on your to-do-list as pieces of baggage. That's how much burdens you have! You need to cut it away and let it improve your mood.

 

7. Over-Caffenation

If you are addicted to coffee, rethink your coffee habits! Too much of it is bad for you and if you try to withdraw,  the chemicals withdrawal will also screw your inside up for a while.
