The Jews and Moors founded Chefchaouen in the Rif mountains back in 1471 when they were fleeing Spain. Though it isn't clear why the city was painted blue, there is quite a number of theories~

Some say it was painted blue by the Jews who settled there after fleeing from Hitler while others said it's just to keep the mosquitoes away. Of course there are some who also believed that it represents the colour of the sea~

Well, we'll never know which is real and which is not but all we know is that we're digging it!

4. Colmar, France

Colmar is a town in the Grand Est region of northeastern France, near the border with Germany. Its old town has cobblestone streets lined with half-timbered medieval and early Renaissance buildings which we absolutely dig! *heart eyes*

If you're into the early Renaissance period, this town would be a feast for your eyes.

 5. Grand Bazaar, Istanbul, Turkey

Turkey is more than just hot air balloons and bazaars. It's a place filled with cultural, warmth, grand mosques and COLOURS!

Instead of saving pennies for that weekend getaway, work hard (and save hard) to enjoy a view you'd remember forever!
