All About April Skin Cushion- Which Is For You?

So you finally decided to try April Skin cushion? There are like so many different types on the counter, which is for me?  To start off with an end in mind, all the cushions are GREAT for covering redness and scars. Make sure you get the right one!

Do check the authenticity before purchase! There should be an 'authentic hologram sticker' and 'made in Korea' label on its product (as of now).

1. Perfect Magic Cover Fit Cushion
It is for all skin types but more suitable for people with dull skin/dry skin. A 67% serum formula. It claims to be clinically proven for  24 hours lasting coverage & moisture. End results: Flawless complexion. A mochi-type sponge pre-loaded with foundation and a metal plate for a more hygienic use. It is definitely cooler because of the novelty in packaging.
Main Ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, Lotus Flower Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Japanese Cornelian Cherry

In the video below, you may jump to 3:30 for immediate application. She commented midday that there is almost no texture, no oily feel, however, it is winter at where she is at. She affirms that the advertisement is real, the coverage is indeed full, beautiful texture, no dry patches! Woww.

End of Day Review: 9.41pm
-No touching up
-No blotting of oil
-Nothing on the side of the nose
-Forehead still pretty conceal
-Best cushion ever so far

Verdict:
Yes, she will recommend it.

If you have oily or combination skin, make sure you top it off with loose powder so it doesn't look oily by end of the day. Alternatively, hydrate if your skin is dry with a moisturizer first before application

2. April Skin Magic Snow Fixing Foundation SPF 30++/PA ++
It is a lightweight foundation designed for oily skin and hot/humid weather. It is buildable and it delivers full coverage. The presence of sebum control powder controls shine and creates an overall matte look. It is a mesh cushion foundation, see picture below.
Main Ingredients: Green Tea Leaf Water, Jeju Cherry Blossoms Extract, Camellia Japonica Flower Extract

According to this YouTuber, it is lighter and less sticky compared to the others. It moisturises and provides good coverage. You can clearly see the effectiveness of the magic snow fixing foundation below.

An overall dewy fairer skin. Great for Singapore's weather!

3. April Skin Magic Snow Cushion Black   SPF of 50+/PA+++
Suitable for all skin type, it has a 45% hydrating serum-based formula which provides full coverage and a lasting wear minus the stickiness. It's designed to cover all skin imperfection including blemishes and acne scars. It claims to give a smooth, flawless, and velvety complexion.
Main Ingredient: Mineral Water, Blueberry Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract

"The smell is good, the mosquito bites and the scar are covered. This product is good!"

4. Magic Snow Sun Cushion SPF of 50+/PA+++
This is a sun-protection cushion. It is not as popular as the other products. It claims to be a non-sticky formula, moisturising and its main purpose is to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
Main Ingredient: Aloe Vera Water, 12 kinds of herbs complex, madecasoside.

You can almost skip this once since April Skin has other products with way higher reviews as well.

As with every product, it may be good or even great for many but it may not be for you. Still, we say, this is worth the try! Go for it! There are more thumbs up than thumbs down. Avoid if you don't like a thick or a fairer look, overall remember its a Korean product. Get the real one, don't save and settle for imitation.
