We can never get enough of weddings here in India and the endless number ceremonies we get to attend is all you can wish to get dressed up, have fun and dance the night away. The exciting time has already begun for another couple in the town. They are none other than Prateik Babbar and his sweetheart Sanya Sagar and the pre-wedding celebrations are going on in full swing.

The couple had their haldi and mehendi ceremony yesterday and the pictures are going viral on social media. And, we must say the duo looks all sweet and adorable next to each other. The pictures were shared by the bride-to-be herself, on her Instagram account.

Sanya and Prateik, have known each other for over ten years now, and the two started dating each other two years ago. The couple got engaged on January 22 last year. Soon after, during an interview, Prateik confirmed that he is all prepared to get married.

Prateik shared, "Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Basant Panchami. She's the best partner I could have asked for. It didn't take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds cliched, but I can't stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life."

Prateik is wearing an off-white kurta paired with a bottle green dupatta while the pretty dulhan-to-be is slaying in a basic yellow dress with a floral tiara. The haldi and mehendi ceremony was an intimate affair with only the couple's close friends and family in attendance. The functions took place at Sanya's farmhouse in Lucknow. According to the reports, the wedding ceremony is to be held today.
