Choreographer Saroj Khan Passes Away At 71, Celebs Pay Tribute

Ace choreographer Saroj Khan died of cardiac arrest at 71 in Mumbai. A couple of days back, she was hospitalized due to breathing issues. The three-time National Award winner choreographed some of the most iconic songs of the Hindi cinema. This indeed comes as a shock to all the Bollywood celebs who mourned her death.

Mandatory COVID-19 test was done and it showed negative result. Saroj's nephew Manish Jagwani told news agency PTI, "She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2:30 am at the hospital."

From Madhuri Dixit to Amitabh Bachchan, many celebs have mourned the death of their beloved master ji.

Madhuri tweeted, "I'm devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan."

Akshay wrote, "Woke up to the sad news that legendary choreographer #SarojKhan ji is no more. She made dance look easy almost like anybody can dance, a huge loss for the industry. May her soul rest in peace."

Saroj has choreographed more than 2,000 songs in her career. She won National Awards for Devdas, Jab We Met and the 2007 Tamil film Shringaram.

Her last choreographed song was Tabaah Hogaye, featuring Madhuri from Kalank.

It won't be wrong to say that we still haven't recovered from the death of Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and now we have lost another gem.
