Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor Shoot For A 'Brahmastra' Song In Manali

While we are desperately waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to get hitched, we are equally grateful to Ayan Mukerji for pairing the two together on the big screen for the very first time in their upcoming film Brahmastra.

Both on & off-screen couple #Ralia was currently spotted in snowy Manali, shooting for a song. And, we have got our hands on the latest behind-the-scenes pictures of the rocking duo for you and those who ship them will fall in love a little more.

Looking at their photos, we are already shivering with the chill in the hills. The temperature in Manali right now is -1 degree celsius. While we can't our excitement for their upcoming project Brahmastra to hit the theatres, these pictures remind us of another popular song. Any guesses which song or movie are we talking about?

We are talking about Deepika and Ranbir's famous song Subhanallah from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which was also directed Ayan Mukerji in 2013.

Check out similar jackets the actresses are wearing but in different colours. While Deepika sported a jacket in pink for the song Subhanallah, Alia is seen wearing a neon green jacket during the shoot of the song. Ranbir's look is pretty much the same except the full-sleeved jacket. And the background,  snow-filled mountains of Manali, pretty much the same right?

Now we are wondering if Ayan Mukerji is trying to recreate something fabulous like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. After all, that movie became our all-time favourite and made everyone fall in love with the idea of friendship. The on-screen chemistry between Deepika and Ranbir even after the two broke up was simply magical.

Getting back to Brahmastra, (before we start feeling too nostalgic) Ranbir-Alia starrer is a super-hero film, pervaded in Mythology and is a Karan Johar production. The movie is set to release in 2020 and also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
